Description

Eh, so I decided to color a version of (this 3fangs.deviantart.com/art/The-… ) as well...
SteelFanged's version: steelfanged.deviantart.com/art…
His shading came out a lot better than mine--though I used it for heavy referencing--his got some nice depth; mine's rather flat. ^^;
(And again I went with purple shadows, because I'm derpy that way.) :iconhurrplz:
I think I made his eyes too big in the digital inking process...:doh:
And the scars look somewhat pasted on...:hmm:
Oh. Yeah. And there's no background other than a color gradient. =p

 The purple shadows look great! I love what you're doing with colour lately, it's making your drawings look so eye-catching! 
 
 I think the issue with the scar MAY be the outlines? I never drawn scars (best I've gotten was freckles) but I think it would look more like part of the skin if there was no black lines to separate them.
