I'm just staring at this, gobsmacked. It's been a while since I've seen one of your pictures with a character placed in an abstract background, and this just blew me away. The lighting is perfect, the pose is perfect, the recurring circle symbol is perfect, Whickes' expression is perfect (hostage-fiver already mentioned how great it is as a combination of determination and reluctance). I couldn't possibly like this more.
D'aww, shucks, that's awful kind of you. I don't think it's "winner" material, but I do so love to see the different entries 'Fiver pulls in with her contests. (There's been a great feeling of comradeship in her contests, whether for Give Me The Sky, or TAG--I never feel like a loser, because I'm just happy to see SOMEONE win.)
I loved the whimsy of your own entry. (It was so perfectly in character with Micki.) X3
You're weclome! (I know, right? That's why I love entering her contests. None of us are particularly snotty about being all, "I'm gonna win!" we're just all supportive of each other ) Thank you!
(I really appreciate it.)
There was a good turnout for this contest--it makes me glad I'm just a contestant and not the judge.
I LOVE!!!!
This is gonna win, I called it!
