Madora the Monk

One of my Labyrinth Lord characters--and as anyone who's played a retro-game clone knows, you need very particular stats to be able to play a monk. @_@
Out of like 72 stat blocks I rolled up (roll 3 six sided dice, six times, in order), only one of them was suitable for a monk. Annnnd she had pretty poor Charisma.

So I had fun playing a surly tough chick who liked to solve problems with her feet and fists.
Her adventuring companions consisted of a human ranger, and SteelFanged's gnomish cleric, Yashir. (I don't know how to spell his name.)
The gnome was fairly charismatic, it's just that he was completely insane; believing his sole purpose in life was to become his god by his actions in life.
Also: his god was chaotic. This is important to mention; because after we killed a bunch of bandits and saved one for questioning...well, look, he healed the bandit, saving him from near death, so that we could get some information...And then he bashed his brains in again. Madora wasn't really upset per se, since she'd been bashing bandits left and right and was almost killed for her efforts, but I, as a player, was beating my head against the table at the realization that the healing spell would've served my character in much better stead, when I was the one who'd asked the cleric to heal the bandit. No good deed goes left unpunished.
It was tons of fun, though. And despite many close calls, we all managed to survive. And we were first level. And this is LABYRINTH LORD. Not overly kind to first level characters. (Well, I say that, but honestly? I've had very good luck in not dying. Most of my character deaths have been at the hands of my adventuring partners. Who blow me up with grenades.) *I wasn't bitter about that, though my space pilot, Mack Velo, was really bitchin' cool*
