Happy Birfday Wuvvlekins!

Today marks the 4th year I've had  my chickens!
They're my babies, and I luvz them soooooo much!

I need to post some current photos--her beard has gotten quite large and poofy. Like little Russian Beard. Da.
Owl-Girl isn't the best layer (her shells tend to be warty on the pointy end), but apparently jumbo eggs must run in her faimly, because she's laid QUITE a few double-yolkers. It worries me, because I'm afraid one of these days she'll get eggbound (a nasty business, don't read about it), and I also worry coz she's the lowest in the chicken hierarchy and all the others are mean to her. (Alas, even my poor Van Buren--R.I.P.--was a bitch to her, and she was only a step above in the pecking order!)

Welp, gotta go give them yummy treats!
