I like your shading here, it came out nice and deep, but I prefer the one with the lighting effect. It just adds a touch of life to the scene that I appreciate.

Still, it's nice to see both isn't it?

Aye...I've gotta practice some more with the GIMP's lighting effects...(took me forever just to come up with what I DID!) X{

I like to have a comparison ready to hand. (plus I honestly didn't know which one I liked more.) ^///^

Umnn! I think this one is great too, but the other one is more "magic" I guess =D =P I think they are different styles, but for a fantasy picture I preffer the one with lighting ^_^!!
