Artist's Comments

This is just a picture I did for :iconkimhura:, wishing her well since she's got Lyme disease. ^_^

Hope you get well soon, Kim! Don't ask what's in the bowl, for I have no idea--because as far as I know, my cooking skills are negligible. (So in other words, don't eat it, for it may be harmful.) *unintentionally so* ;p =p

(Bob the dragon courtesy of :icondearestme:, who gave him to me as a present.) ^,^

I'm not sure if you celebrate something like that, but here we've got something like "name day" :p Well, maybe not many people celebrate it here but it's a nice reason for making a present xD

Yeah? And how does that work? I like any reason to celebrate!!! Be it with a picture or with cake! :cake:

(We've got a lot of strange celebrations here in America, I often wonder how some of them get started...) :o Like "National Talk Like a Pirate Day!" Who started that, and how did it become official? *at least, it's very official on the internet*

Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in.

Well, I can only tell you how it works in Poland, cause I'm not sure about the other countries.
In Poland, name days (Polish: imieniny) are widely celebrated, and most calendars contain the names celebrated each day. Name day celebrations in Poland traditionally involve a gathering of friends and family at the celebrant's home at the dinner table [oh really? o.O], followed by drinking and socializing, similarly to birthday celebrations. The song "Sto lat" is sometimes sung. Child celebrants, and often adults too, receive presents, just like on their birthday. Celebrating birthdays is very popular, too. - Wikipedia

Sometimes we have (well... that's not a celebration, but it sounds cool) Zombie Walk. Have you heard about it? :P

Omg, I wanna have "National Talk Like a Pirate Day" in Poland too XD
