So far, for my first time playing an actual fighter, I've just about died twice. Turns out, no matter what I play, Death dogs my heels--whether I'm a little halfling bard, a gun-toting mouse, a roguish space captain with dubious morals, or (in this case) a young, honest fighter...I'm fatally attracted to doing stupid heroics. I've actually had the most luck playing a gun-toting mouse, as I've actually made it to my second level! (Space Captain Mack Velo was horribly blown up by his fellow crew-mate who had an unfortunate love of explosive things.)
